Catherine, from July 19 to 26 2016
From 19 to 26 of July, I attended a yoga course on the island of Paros, internship led by Stephane Colliege. The shala situated behind a small beach with crystal clear sea and a restaurant, was lovely. There were two class per day, morning and late afternoon. The gradual approach proposed by Stephane – potitions in the morning, with increasing difficulty day after day – allowed me to better understand and practice the asanas more accurately in the afternoon.
Diverse and manifold, his teaching was cheerful, professional and very prepared; his availability, his explanations of the many facets of this complex philosophy, his desire to create a group dynamic, kindness and humor made this course a daily source of personal enrichment and left me a bright memory. Thank you Stephane ! Two thumbs up !
Anne, from June 21 to 28 2015
I came back from this course in Paros replenished … if not transformed ! I discovered with great pleasure the practive of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, a more rhythmic and more dynamic exercice than that I practices in my classes in Montreal. Lawrence was able, with great professionalism and patience, to guide us in our learning or improvement of this demanding discipline, adapting to each.
The highlights of this weeks are numerous … Course side : work on breathing, fluidity in sequences of postures, the variety of workshops and a harmonious group relationship. Trip side : a charming hotel, responsive hosts and authentic local cuisine, garden vegetables based… On a dream island!

A beautiful island, people there are simply adorable. A nice place to practice yoga in a gentle energy, to reconnect.
This training of yoga / relaxation / meditation / discussion gave me a lovely message and gift … become aware of my life path.
Thank you Laurent for those precious moments of life.
2014 Testimonies about this course
Gwladys, summer 2014
I had the chance to follow two weeks of training in Paros with Maxime as a teacher. In a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, Maxime brought me a clearer and more vision of yoga. I especially appreciated his ability to adapt to the specificities of each, both physical and moral. The courses were suitable and interesting. I really felt for the first time in my life I was dealing with a true yogi (very humble by the way) who really wants to share his knowledge and is particularly of good advice.
With a theoretical part and a practical part, the courses were really interesting and invigorating. I really enjoyed the experience with Yoga Escape.
Very wise choice of venue: WONDERFUL, great hotel and great teacher. We spent a great time with the group outside the class, which added a positive point in this course. You will see me again!!! Also thank you again for organizing and thank you Maxime!!!

Paros is the ideal place for a yoga / holiday stay, coiled between blue, white and turquoise. The charming hotel is quiet with a beach located a few meters, and idyllic coves just below. It oscillates between pool and sea, sea and swimming pool, morning yoga, yoga in the evening.
The break between 10 am and 5:30 allows to discover the charming villages of the area, on foot, by scooter or bus, or even stay bubbled in the hotel or at the beach. The small beach restaurant offer grilled fish and other local delicacies.
The hotel is a heaven held by a French as friendly as professional, like the entire staff.
Maxime Gamart’s teaching is high-standard; he is also patient, kind and has a good humor, for a week full of joy and discovery.
For those who like kitesurfing, there is an ideal spot situated 15 minutes from the hotel.
Have a good stay !

Just perfet ! Exactly what I hoped by enrolling for this stay yoga holiday stay: discovery of Ashtanga yoga with an intensive practice, but remarkably assayed by Maxime Gamart, a passionate and fascinating teacher. Of great maturity despite his young age, he was able to balance theory and practice with several approaches to move us forward in the short time available and cause the desire to prolong the experience later.
The environment was idyllic, and most classes were held outdoors overlooking the sea. Accommodation at the top, a remarkable quality of welcome by both the friendliness of the staff and beauty of housekeeping.
The food is plentiful and qualitative. All dishes are not vegan but I, as a vegetarian, found my account without problems.
Our small group was great with enough affinities and differences to enriching exchanges.
I came back home recharged with energy and motivated to pursue a regular practice, hoping to repeat the experience soon.
With a big thank you to Maxime and other participants for the wonderful times together and to Laurent who orchestrates these stays.

In fact my only regret is not to have remained one ore day (I did not know it was possible. Linking of participants before departure would be useful to organize. I plan to return in September, I contact you soon about this.
See you very soon, Agnes
